Zinnia Group

Zinnia Group
6x6 Oil
My zinnia's are mostly frost bitten now. A few of them struggle onward in these warmer days, so I thought I should paint them quickly. I did take lots of photos for this winter but thought a couple small paintings today would keep them fresh in my mind. You can purchase these paintings on my Etsy site.

3 Zinnias
6x6 Oil
Here is my second painting. There are some interesting purple red colors in some of these zinnias. I was trying to capture that color... but  think nature does it best.

White Daisy Clump

White Daisy Clump
6x6, Oil

Back in the studio again after my summer show season. It was a brisk day today with a lot of wind. I did manage to get a couple photos of some late summer flowers to paint. Fall looks like it has arrived. These reference photos are precious and will keep me painting all winter. Visit my website to purchase this painting.
