Getting started on this painting today. It will be titled 'Chippie', for obvious reasons. I started painting Chippie first because he is the star of the painting. Although the flowers will outshine him in the end; I think Chippie will steal the show. Stay tuned for more updates.
OK, finally, I found time to paint the rest of the Chippie painting! YEAH!!! here it is below-
I want to paint a bunch of Scabiosa, (pincushion flowers) in an upcoming painting. I thought why not paint a small painting first? Today's test went well and now I can progress to the larger painting. View more of my art on my website: SpohnStudio.com
Color, shapes, patterns and texture are the basic elements in this painting. The bee balm flowers in the background always remind me of fireworks. Visit my website to view more of my paintings. SpohnStudio.com
Just finished this new pet portrait. Since it is a small size I had to work with small brushes. Seems more stressful to me... but probably because I like my larger brushes better. I think the colors and pose of the dog turned out well. View more of my paintings on my website- SpohnStudio.com
Pet portrait revised- made a few changes. Lighting maybe a bit light on this photo, but you can see some of the changes I made to the dog and some value changes.
OK, below is the final version of this pet portrait.
